Teachers Licensed Out-of-State
The number of initial licenses issued to out-of-state applicants nearly equaled the number of initial licenses issued to Kansas graduates in the 2006-07 school year. Kansas recognizes that our society is much more mobile and welcomes teachers from other states to join their education workforce. To obtain out-of-state licensure follow the steps below:
Did you complete a traditional route program to licensure (ex. 4 year approved teacher preparation program)?
