necessary to live, learn and work in the 21st century.

Woodson School District 366 is a rural school district proudly serving the communities of Neosho Falls, Piqua, Toronto, and Yates Center. We have the only two attendance centers located in Woodson County and both are located in the county seat of Yates Center (Hay Capital of the World). Our Elementary School serves Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade students and our High School (2A) serves ninth through twelfth grade students as well as serving as an adult education center. The elementary school and the high school are accredited by North Central Association of Schools and also Quality Performance Accredited. Yates Center is located in eastern Kansas at the junction of US 75 Highway and US 54 Highway in the heart of Woodson County. Larger communities in the surrounding areas include Iola, Chanute and Burlington. All are within a 35 mile radius of Yates Center.

The district has high quality administrators, instructors, and professional support staff members serving our students educational needs. Our instructors have been recognized in the state and nation for their professional achievements and contributions to public education. Our buildings have received recognition from the State of Kansas for meeting Standard of Excellence criteria established by using diverse instructional methods and utilizing technology rich classrooms. We are a professional learning community continually striving to create an excellent working environment for all employees and the best educational opportunities possible for our students. Woodson School District 366 Board of Education truly believes "Our people are the difference"!
